“ Sure! Here’s a shorter but still great review: Amazing food and warm hospitality! The injera was perfectly soft and paired beautifully with the rich, flavorful stews. I especially loved the keyi beg wott, which was perfectly spiced. The staff was friendly and happy to explain the dishes, making the experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic Ethiopian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back! Let me know if you want any tweaks! ”
“ Not bad for Ethiopian in Texas. Decent service, reasonable price for a buffet lunch, strong tea, parking spaces, TV for World Cup games, and, perhaps most importantly, tasty authentic Ethiopian food. Injera could have been more fresh, but they were fresh enough for a buffet lunch. Also had gluten free injera. ”
“ Do you know the fairy tale with the small shack in the middle of nowhere, where you enter and there is a palace inside? Aster's is the place and if you don't even find marble and gold, you can find the best Ethiopian food there is! Generous portions and a menu where you want to try everything! ”
“ My grandmother and I dined here while visiting Austin,TX. We loved the food, the service was great and the atmosphere was sweet and authentic, it felt very "homey" as they had family photos up, real ethiopian table cloth. You normally would ... ”
“ Very authentic Ethiopian food, they do not hold back on the spices and I greatly appreciate that. You know that you are not eating something that has been watered down for a Western pallet. ”
“ The food was delicious, very fragrant and flavorful. We asked for all of the spicy meats and the combination did not disappoint. The seating and atmosphere were just ok, but the servers were attentive and kind. Overall it was a great experience, my friends and I can't wait to return. ”
“ I brought 15 people here with no reservation (Im sorry) and they killed it and I love them. The food: insanely good, beautifully spiced. The drinks: you have to try honey wine!!! Buy too much food and take it home and eat it tomorrow for lunch!! ”
